How We Work
Victory for Equality's mission is to promote equality within local communities deeply affected by inequality, while also raising global awareness of these issues. Our work is driven by both research and action, combining insight with impact.

"Victory for Equality envisages a world in which every human being, regardless gender or background, can join and collaborate together and experience their life based upon equal beliefs, rights and freedom. We also strive to unite women and men by not only empowering women, but by empowering men and women together."
How We Make a Difference
At Victory for Equality, we take action in the following ways:
We implement independent Equality programs in communities that request support. (for example: programs against domestic violence in Ecuador and gender education and reconciliation programs for boys and girls in Tanzania and South Africa)
We also help realize tangible infrastructure, such as building schools and community centers, to support long-term development. (for example: school building for Indigenous (Indian) children in Peru)
Our projects are driven by research, guiding our actions from start to finish, ensuring they are shaped by the needs and voices of the people.
We collaborate closely with local people and organizations.
We offer lectures, presentations, and workshops for those seeking knowledge and insight on equality-related issues.
We provide hands-on guidance and financial support to local projects addressing the harm caused by inequality.
We actively mobilize funding and resources to bring these efforts to life.
Gender Reconciliation Programs, South Africa
Our Gender Reconciliation Programs bring men and women together to address and prevent violence in all its forms — sexual, emotional, and physical.
While decades of focus have rightly centered on the oppression of women and the importance of women's empowerment, we believe the time has come to recognize that there are two sides to the story. Separation no longer serves us. True reconciliation means including men in the conversation and the healing process.
The approach of the Gender Reconciliation Programs, draws inspiration from the principles of South Africa's post-apartheid Truth and Reconciliation Commission: acknowledging pain on both sides, listening to one another without judgment, and practicing truth-telling as a path toward healing. The ultimate aim is to foster understanding, forgiveness, and reconciliation between genders.
We have supported this work in South Africa — in townships, prisons, government institutions, universities, and beyond — and are expanding to other countries. It is also our wish to bring this important work to the Netherlands.

Evaluation
Victory for Equality strives to report transparently on our successes and failures. Therefor good evaluation of our projects is needed.
The people themselves play an important role in this evaluations. They assess whether things have improved or more if more work needs to be done.
To remain transparency and validity, external evaluators such as universities assess the impact of a given project.
